Culture of Repair

This transition manual is an introductory approach to cultivating and preparing edible weeds as a means of future food security, and autonomous food production. The manual is based of off research into the practices of edible weed cultivation undertaken by farmers of the Shurugwi District in Zimbabwe as per traditional cultural practices as well as in response to the effects of colonisation and imposed western agricultural practices.

This manual is faux leather hand bound with khadi paper, and comes with seeds and collapsible, straw board punnets intended to remove the danger of misidentifying plants at the beginner level. It also includes instructions on planting and care, as well as information on the benefits of undertaking weed cultivation, including nutritional and environmental values.
